In September, CinemaNow launched its Disc to Digital service in Canada.[38] and Target Ticket launched with UltraViolet capability.[39] Ultraviolet expanded to French republic, Frg, Austria, and Switzerland in Nov.

In Jan, DECE launched a revamped UltraViolet website with new features.[40] On Feb 25, Disney launched Disney Movies Anywhere, a streaming service.[41] The next mean solar day, Mitch Vocalist, the President of DECE, stated that the new Disney Movies Anywhere service would not prohibit Disney from offer UltraViolet titles in the future.[42]

Flixster Video also went on to announce of its own shutdown late in 2019 (a date was not mentioned) and that arrangements had been made with Google Play to enable migration of bachelor videos on subscribers' Flixster business relationship to Google Play.
